Estefanie Garduno Rapp
PYP Director

Estefanie Garduno Rapp was born and raised in Mexico City and is the founder and director of the Pegasus Young Professional Group. By day, she is a physician informaticist, harnessing AI and informatics to explore the complexities of neuroscience. By night, she is a passionate multidisciplinary artist, bringing creativity to life in various forms. Deeply engaged in both science and the arts, Estefanie founded this group to build a welcoming and dynamic community where women can connect, uplift one another, and immerse themselves in the transformative power of artistic expression.

“The work produced by Pegasus Contemporary Ballet is truly inspiring,” she says. “Anyone with an appreciation for the arts will find a home in our group. We bring together a diverse mix of individuals—from scientists to life explorers—united by curiosity and creativity.”

ERYN SALE
CHIEF EDITOR

Eryn Sale is the Chief Editor for PYP. Originally from Indiana, she is a PhD candidate at UTSW in computational neuroscience, building mathematical models for how our brains navigate, like how dancers learn their spots for a performance. She spent high school and college as a band nerd playing the tenor saxophone and a member of the color guard in marching band.
She says: “I chose science because it was my way to describe and communicate the world around me. For others, that is visual art, music, or dance. I have always had the ability to choose my field; not everyone is as fortunate. I want to support women in the arts so they get the opportunities I did. Contact her at eryn@pegasusballet.org.

MADDIE LeDOUX

Maddie LeDoux is the PYP Network Social Media Officer. She graduated from LSU in accounting and is currently working as a Fuel Inventory Accounting Analyst for Sunoco, LP. Growing up going to the Nutcracker yearly, she was involved in various types of dance as well as lessons for the violin and piano as a child. Art was a large part of her childhood, and says: “ I am excited to bring that back into my adult life”. She joined PYP to connect with other young professional women of various backgrounds and career paths who all have the same appreciation for the arts. Contact her at maddie@pegasusballet.org.

samantha Minsk
digital officer

Samantha Minsk grew up in Washington State and is a new resident to Dallas. She was introduced to the violin at age 4, but during a summer music camp, she laid eyes on a harp and immediately fell in love with the instrument. She has been playing off and on 10 years and has learned to enjoy the arts and bond with creatives. She studied journalism in college and traveled the country in her van filming newsworthy events during COVID. Samantha is excited to use her skills as a freelance video editor and Filmer to tell stories of the community.
