What is Synergy?

Synergy is a groundbreaking production that fuses the dynamic artistry of contemporary ballet with the diverse sounds of Dallas’s vibrant music scene. Pegasus Contemporary Ballet commissions new works to be created in collaboration with DFW-based musicians who perform live on stage with the dancers. By partnering with local musicians—from DJs and rock bands to jazz ensembles and singer-songwriters—Synergy creates an electrifying live performance experience that transcends genres and expectations.

Through this authentic collaboration, Synergy challenges traditional perceptions of ballet. Each commission showcases the creative energy of Dallas’s artists, while connecting diverse dance and music audiences through an exhilarating shared experience. More than a performance, Synergy is a cultural movement—one that celebrates the power of collaboration, innovation, and the ever-evolving spirit of ballet.
